I hope you all were able to make it to our wine tasting last Thursday. We were delighted to give our customers a chance to meet famed wine produced David O’Reilly (2nd from left) and taste samples of his delicious wines.

It was easily the largest crowd we’ve experienced at one of our tastings and we were very pleased by its success. Hopefully we will be able to arrange similar events in the near future.

Today’s the day! Mr. David O’Reilly will be at our store for a wine tasting at 3pm today! It will go until 6pm. Don’t miss out!

As of today, we will be carrying a wide variety of sauces and marinades from It’s Arthur’s Fault. Located in Jericho, Vermont, It’s Arthur’s Fault produces a great line of high quality products, with a strict focus on using local and wheat-free ingredients. They are also heavily devoted to extensive recycling and composting practices, so they care about the Earth too! (Take a note, BP)

Tomorrow, we will be replacing the oven in our Deli, causing lunch to look a little different. Despite our oven deficit, we welcome you to join our staff as we offer hot 4-cheese Panini sandwiches, grilled vegetable Napoleons, fresh lobster rolls, Reubans, Tomato soup, grilled chicken Caesar wraps, and delicious salads out of our repertoire. Our oven should be up an running for Thursday, so this will be a one-day event. Come enjoy!

I just wanted to remind everyone about the wine tasting coming up on June 17th. It will be running from 3-6pm on that Thursday and will be attended by David O’Reilly of both O’Reilly and Owen Roe wines. Come check it out. You shan’t be disappointed.

You know the seaons have official changed when the produce deparment starts looking differently. When you come in, you’ll now find a succulent assortement of Springtime fruits. And, really, what’s better than a delicious piece of fruit on a warm Spring/Summer morning?

If you are anything like me, you think that flatbread might be the most delicious food ever conceived by a human. Do you want to make your own at home? Well, good news then. We have the perfect product!

We are now carrying Mach’s Wood-Fired Gourmet Pizza Crusts. They are available in two sizes, 12oz. Family Size ($5.49) and 5oz. Personal Size ($3.79). You also have the choice between White and Multi-Grain crusts. We recently got to sample this product at the store, and as a flatbread lover, I can say they are absolutely fantastic.

So come grab a crust, add to it your favorite fresh, local produce and local meat ingredients for a delicious summer meal. You’ll find the crusts right in front of our Deli.
