At 6:36pm on Wednesday, our own flower lady Krista Wilbur gave birth to a healthy baby daughter! She named her Karmen Florence Wilbur and she was 5 pounds, 2 3/4 ounces and 17.5 inches long. Everything went smoothly and there were no complications.

We wish Krista all the best with her new baby daughter and congratulate her on the new family member!

You’ve probably noticed us going though a bit of home improvements here at the store. We are happy to say that our new meat cases are now fully installed and working 100%.

These new cases are not only more aesthetically pleasing and efficient, but we also have another four feet of shelf space in which to fit even more delicious meat. yum!

So, come enjoy the fact that we once again offer meat that you can select yourself!

We have just added our recipe section to our website. This page will feature recipes crafted by our own Chef Bob Touchette. Not only will you know how to craft a delicious meal, but you will also be able to come to the store knowing exactly what ingredients you need.

This past Saturday, our Dairy Manager Eric Mikkelson wed his longtime love Dawn in a lovely ceremony held in Lincoln, VT. We wish the bride and groom all the best in their lives together!

Greetings all!

In an effort to become more green, we have recently expanded our recycling practices to include the reprocessing of more plastic materials, including plastic wrap, bottle caps, containers, and shopping bags. Being in the grocery business, we receive a large amount of plastic wrapping materials, and we are happy to know that they are now being recycled and reused, rather than taking up room in a landfill. As of May 5th, we have sent back forty-one 50-gallon trash bags worth of compressed plastic wrap material!

"But what about my plastic materials?" you ask. No worries. when you first enter our store, you will see a large bin labeled for plastic wraps and shopping bags, as well a bin for plastic bottle caps. We encourage you to bring with you to our store any plastic materials that you cannot recycle at home, and we will be happy to take care of it.
