Our History, Personnel & Mission
The roots of Shelburne Supermarket date from the late 1700's when the first community grocery store was built in Shelburne. Moved to its current location in the 1960's, with the current owners taking over in the mid 1970's, Shelburne Supermarket is, more than ever, focused on it's community. A great team of dedicated supervisors and valued employees, some of whom have been with the company for 20 years, keep the tradition of purveying quality food while supporting the community, very much alive. Local farmers, producers and growers all come together to offer freshness, a phenominal selection and sustainability in a time where uniformity and mass production have become the norm. Shelburne Supermarket believes that our "closeness to community" fosters a quality of life which is unsurpassed in today's world. |
